Burnaby SD41
Burnaby has had a mentoring program for several years. There is a committee composed of Burnaby Teachers Association and District people working to support early career teachers. Contact Wanda Mitchell at

Chilliwack SD33
Chilliwack has an active Mentoring Committee that has been formally training mentors and supporting new teachers through in-service, release time for collaboration and in-service, resources, etc.
For the past 2 years, we have provided joint training for mentors and in-service for early career teachers along with our colleagues in Abbotsford School District, and we highly recommend a collaborative effort like this to other school districts! Together we have trained over 80 mentors.
